Early access — incident data is AI-generated and may be inaccurate. We're actively improving.

Become a Feed Provider

Help expand real-time dispatch coverage to your county. Run the radio — we handle the rest.

What Feed Providers Do

DispatchDB relies on community feed providers — scanner enthusiasts who run SDRTrunk or similar software to capture dispatch radio. Your setup records individual radio transmissions and uploads them to DispatchDB, where AI takes over: transcribing, classifying, and publishing structured incident data in under 60 seconds.

You provide the ears. We provide the brain.

What You Need

01
SDRTrunk
Free, open-source trunked radio decoder. Runs on Windows and Linux.
02
SDR Hardware
An RTL-SDR dongle (~$25) and a suitable antenna for your local P25 system.
03
Dedicated PC
A computer that can run 24/7. Doesn't need to be powerful — even a Raspberry Pi works for some setups.
04
Internet
Reliable connection for uploading audio. Bandwidth needs are minimal (~200MB/day typical).

Your county gets real-time coverage

How It Works

  1. Apply below — tell us about your setup and which county you can cover.
  2. Get approved — we'll review your application and reach out.
  3. Install the agent — download the DispatchDB agent app, enter your API key, point it at your SDRTrunk recording directory.
  4. Go live — audio flows automatically. You'll see your county light up on DispatchDB.

Expectations

We aim for two active providers per county for redundancy. You don't need 100% uptime — life happens. But we're looking for operators who can maintain a reasonably consistent feed. If your setup goes down, the backup provider keeps coverage going while you get back online.
