**Fire Alarm at Quarterdale Farms Investigated as Faulty Smoke Detector**

Rodman Fire and Adams Center Fire responded to a fire alarm activation reported at Quarterdale Farms, located at 14742 County Route 155, according to dispatch radio traffic. The call came in at 8:13 p.m., with the alarm panel indicating Room 5, prompting dispatch of units including Rodman Fire's chief and engine, along with mutual aid from Adams Center Fire. Rodman Chief 38-0-3 arrived on scene by 8:19 p.m. and reported nothing showing, requesting a second activation while additional Rodman units, including Engine 38-1-1 and Utility 38-7-1, were en route.

Adams Center Engine 02-1-2 reached the single-story multi-occupancy residence at 8:23 p.m. to assist in the investigation, where Rodman Chief noted the alarm originated from the same room as the previous week. Rodman Engine 38-1-1 arrived shortly after at 8:26 p.m. but was released by the chief one minute later. Units began clearing the scene progressively, with Rodman directing its utility to return and Adams Center units reporting available by 8:31 p.m.

The incident, lasting 23 minutes, concluded at 8:37 p.m. when Rodman Chief reported the alarm stemmed from a faulty smoke detector, turning the property over to the homeowner. All Rodman and Adams Center units were then marked available, per radio updates.
