Outdoor Fire Reported Near State Route 12

Glen Park Fire responded Tuesday morning to a reported outdoor fire near 27138 State Route 12 in Watertown, in the area of Dump Road and Bridge Lake Road, according to dispatch radio traffic. The incident was dispatched at 9:42 a.m. as a brush or outdoor fire, with Glen Park Fire assigned to the call.

Radio traffic indicated Glen Park Engine 2 began responding a few minutes after dispatch and arrived on scene at about 9:54 a.m. Once there, responders requested that dispatch contact the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for an officer to respond to the area. No additional fire agencies were heard being assigned over the monitored radio traffic.

The incident remained active for roughly 39 minutes. According to responders on the radio, Glen Park Engine 2 cleared the scene and became available again at 10:21 a.m., bringing the incident to a close.
